FINANCE
Finance Centre of Excellence is designed
to provide students with advanced skills in applied finance
required in today's competitive financial environment. The programme
provides a strong foundation in economics and teaches quantitative
and analytical skills employed in investment structuring, pricing,
and risk management of financial instruments, in the development
of trading strategies, and in the utilization of financial products
by end-users.
A finance concentration prepares students for careers in corporate
finance and treasury management, investment banking, commercial
banking, insurance, and portfolio management
Objective of the Course:
- To provide in-depth learning in financial
decision-making, financial instruments and markets.
- To enhance application of economic and
financial theory obtain solutions to financial problems.
- Choosing among alternative investment
projects and evaluating proposed investment strategies.
